    it touches

(that was for you Olivia) :D

So it’s about midnight here, and I’ve been thinking about religion. I know that’s not a very fun topic, but don’t worry I’m not going to go all crazy in-dept about it, partially because its midnight and my thoughts are all a little bit out there and I’m slightly sleep deprived.

Well the United States hardly ever adds amendments to the Constitution, this is mainly due to the fact that is semi difficult and unneeded to add everything as an amendment, but over time the Constitution is changed by implied powers. Implied powers can often change to fit what is needed. Can this apply to the Bible?

Everybody has their own personally interpretation because no mater how long you go to church they’re not going to get through the whole book and tell you what every part means, and even at that each church adds a different voice to the book (I would know because I have been quiet a church hopper).

For example, The Old Testament is always looked at differently and it’s my understanding that the majority disregard a lot of it. I need more research into this, and I also have to read the whole thing straight through, not just my little study bible hehe. From what I’ve heard there’s a couple of sides, one claims that the behavior of God was natural because it was before the time of Jesus, while others sarcastically question if God is like that anymore.

Well that was my two cents, I hope it made a tiny bit of sense, but if it didn’t oh well it’s late and I’m not going to proof read what I wrote, because I can proof read something that isn’t necessary complete.

Anyway I think it will be interesting to explore.

Goodnight loves (even though I’m defiantly not going to bed for a loong time)

Hey Bri. The post made sense but you spelled a lot of stuff wrong. That’s okay though i don’t mind. I’ll watch the rap later cuz it doesn’t show up here for obvious reasons. I definitely understand about the whole religion thing because I’ve heard it my whole life. There’s always a different interpretation of the Bible depending on what Church you go to and who the priest is. We’ll talk tomorrow.

You can’t pull the Emergency Brake.

12:46 I should really work on getting to sleep, I can’t help it though when I got home from school today I passed out, so how on Earth am I suppose to be tired now?! Its during the night that I feel the worse to, although I’ll be the first to admit that I do feel a tad bit better. I’m still debating what I have so far I have eliminated strep throat, west nile, and some different types of cancer. I have, in the free time that I don’t really have, googled random cures for sore throats, this is now my plan.

While still keeping on this 1560-1800 calorie diet, I’m going to have a major vitamin C fetish. At least I think it’s vitamin C, whatever vitamin is in orange juice. It does truly help, the first day I was sick I just kept sipping it and it smoothed my throat. Other then that I’m going to still do a half hour of cardio daily, maybe I can umm sweat it out?

I somewhat dislike going to school when I don’t feel good, and it’s probably not for the reason you think. When I’m sick it’s like my age drops 5 or more years, so basically I’m a walking 10 year old. This is probably because when I was little every time I got sick I would be catered to. Now I’m 16 and have to remind myself my mom won’t be holding my hand the whole time, I have to *gulp* grow up a little. Also another problem with the whole ’school thing’ is that I want to talk to people, but I shouldn’t, you know? I should be resting my vocal cords, but for now I say screw that rule.

Lets move on to funner topics.

Did you know that the today, the 15th, is Rubber Eraser Day. We all make little mistakes so why not take some time today and recognize the little guy who sits at the top of your pencil and helps us out. Today is also Leonardo Da Vinci’s Birthday, he was born on April 15, 1452 (case you care). So if your looking for an excuse to eat that chocolate cake that’s haunting you go for it, but don’t forget to sing him the Birthday Song. If you choose to celebrate his B-day be forewarned that this means in turn your accepting to celibate his death day next month on the 2nd, unfortunately I’m unsure whether the death song has lyrics, but nevertheless you could make one up.

On a less morbid note, Taxes are due today. ;)

    Drive Home

    Greeting!

I’m back, and although there are a million other things I should be doing this moment, I find myself typing along to some song that’s playing from my iTunes. It’s depressing, iTunes that is, would you like to know why? Well, I’m going to tell you anyways, iTunes reminds me of my iPod, which is long gone. Long story short it was lost a the movie theater.

What’s that you want to hear the story? I guess I could tell a bit of it. The truth about what happened to my iPod.

So I have about 5 free movie tickets sitting around my home, but you know how those things work! You have to wait a week before you can see a movie, because during its first week it’s called a special something or other. And when all your friends want to go to the movies they want to see some new release, in this story the new release just happened to be Nim’s Island, which by the way was a movie I was even dying to see. (Figuratively speaking of course) I was happy to spend $9.50 and support this wonderful film, although I should have got the student discount. It was opening night so of course it was a little crowed in there, so we didn’t get our favorite seats, but still decent ones.

    After the film ended is when it happened, the credits rolled, we got out of our seats, and made our way out to the hall. My friends head straight from theater 4 to theater 5 (note actually theater number are not based on the real account). In English this is called ’sneaking into a movie’ and to say the least I was nervous, never in the 16 years I have been alive had I done something so reckless. The movie was 21 and we had planned on seeing it afterwards, but it was the movie I thought I was using my free pass for (ironic eh?). I didn’t do the right thing and walk out of the theater, because truth is I wanted to be there, these are the lines that I kept feeding myself;

“Everyone does this at least once.”

“You go to the movies almost every week you should get a freebie here and there.”

    “Well since I’m already here.”

Between the previews and the start of the movies my cell phone had fallen out of my pocket, and when it fell it must have taken my iPod with it. I’m always checking my pockets and making sure I have everything, sometimes I can be just a bit too paranoid, so of course I noticed it was missing within 2 minutes a the least. Quickly I pulled out my cell to use as a light, and searched around for my heavenly music device. I even asked my friends to help and soon we had search the two rows between us. Harsh reality hit, it was gone.

I’ve always had a strong opinion about karma, this just raises it even more. In a way I guess it was a good (?) thing. A valuable life lesson was learned, a life lesson that is certainly not learned by half the teenage population.

Now, I’m actually in the process of getting a job, so that I may buy a new one (this time possibly a iPod touch!) and I’ll be sure to guard it with my life.

    -Clover

P.S. I defiantly recommend both movies to anyone, they both had a few ups and downs, but overall highly enjoyable.
