    Good day!

So I’m being to think really hard about what I wrote one post down, and I know what I’ve come to decided for now.

I think that yes the the future is predetermined, but still changeable. Only it takes a heck of a lot of will power or something to do so.

What’s the reason for this clearification Clover? Oh well Mr. Question-Man your back?!! Well you see I just wanted to mainly clear it up with my own mind, and the best way to do that is to write it down.

How did you draw this conclusion? Let me tell you a little more about myself. I was a child who was raised on Lucky Charms and Tarot Cards, and if that doesn’t sum it up for you I don’t know what will.

I’ll post more about this later, but for now I want to move on to a more brain friendly subject.

    I’ve decided that I want to save up for a digital camera! Its a big decision but I think I should keep to it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t decide to have this goal before this weekend, being that I spent all my money at the mall. One the positive side I got a new shirt! It’s another one of those cliche shirts that says something about loving the planet. Though I know that buying shirts isn’t going to save the planet I consider it the best way to advertise a message. Think about it, how often do you walk down the street and unconsciously read a shirt or scans someone’s fashion? I know I do it a lot, if your shirts says something, then darn it I’m going to read it! Maybe it will even get people thinking about what it says, isn’t that what all advertising companies are trying to do? The other way I can thing that they can affectively do this is by doing something like this;

    tricky

    Peace

Tags: Freewill, philosophy, to be continued

    Salut!

My brain hurts today, so lets attempt to make it explode shall we?

Today’s topic: Freewill *cue the creepy, evil music*

(Note opinions stated below are valued to change in course of time)

Do you think you have freewill? A simple yes or no question, yay for simplicity. Yes, I do believe I have freewill.

Do you believe in fate? Yes, I believe in fate. Fate, in my mind, is a absolute sureness that something is going to happen. For example, I am fated to die. I’m absolutely positive that will happen one day. Also, when you throw a rock into the air it is ‘fated’ to come down, right? Sure we haven’t thrown every rock into the air, but it wouldn’t be a smart bet to say that one was going to start hovering in the sky.

Okay, so you believe you have freewill, yet you believe in fate? Yes, that is indeed what I have stated.

Since you’ve defined fate can you define freewill? Freewill is something that is made or done freely or of one’s own accord; something voluntary.

Now do you think that all your actions are predetermined? No, I think my actions are part of that whole freewill definition I wrote above.

    Could you wrap this up for the day? Sure thing Mr. Question-Man. I don’t think the future is written in stone, whatever you do can affect it. If there was some easy math equation for the future I think it would look like this;

F= V + U F= The Future V= Variables and U= Uncontrollable events (death, and other things that relate to my fate definition)

    …. to be continued

I’ll continue this in a couple days, but I’m still trying to sort out how I think about everything. Tomorrow for all I know this could change :)

    Bonjour!

Has anyone noticed that my blog subjects follow an ABAB pattern, well everyday but today because today a new poem starts! yay!

Anyway lets chit-chat about something fun, movies! Recently I saw the film The Forbidden Kingdom and it was not the cheesy kongfu movie I thought it was going to be. In fact is was very entertaining. Sure some parts were a little yawn-full, but what movie doesn’t have a scene or two like that! No matter, all that matters is my personal opinion on the movie. :D

The other movie I saw was this so called romantic comedy, One Last Thing.  I said, “so called” because of the fact that the movie was really emotional and not really the type of movie I was expecting. Before I actually tell you what I was expecting I’ll give you a brief, little synopsis; A boy, Dylan, who is a sophomore in High School has terminal cancer. Wish Givers Foundation (the equivalent to our Make a Wish Foundation) grants his last wish to go fishing with some sort of sports player, but everyone is shocked when Dylan says his true wish is to, “have a weekend alone with Nikki” who is a big supermodel. So on and so forth, I think you get the point. Doesn’t that sound like a semi-funny movie!! I think I only laughed no more than 4 times. Although the movie wasn’t the funny movie I was wanted, I still enjoyed it and found it somewhat touching. Before I stop rambling about this film I’ll let you read probably the best quote from the movie, “when you’re born you cry and the world is happy. when you die, the world cries… and you are happy.” Isn’t that deep! Makes you really have some hope for the great beyond.

The song that played during the credit made you appreciate the film a little more. The song was called Heaven’s in New York by Wyclef Jean.

If it was my last day on earth

I’d treat it like my first

go out the way i came in

so innocent so pure with no thoughts of insecurity

Live life to the fullest be what i wanna be

Last day on earth I tell my momma dont cry I’ll see my daddy in paradise

Where the blind can see, the mute can talk, the crippled can walk

but for now Heaven’s in New York

    Happy Earth Day.

Guess who’s not sick anymore? Come on you can do it… -urg it was me duh!

Now are you ready to read something that will most likely make you laugh? Course you are.

(warning: A extremely stupid, blonde joke lies ahead continue at your own risk)

There was this bar and in the bar there was a magic mirror.

If you told a lie it would suck you in.

One day a brunette walked into this bar. She walked up to the mirror and said ‘I think I’m the most beautiful woman in the world’ and it sucked her in.

The next day a redhead walked into the bar. She walked up to the mirror and said ‘I think I’m the most beautiful woman in the world’ and it sucked her in.

Then the next day a blond walked into the bar. She walked up to the mirror and said ‘I think…’ and it sucked her in.

Made me laugh :D . Anyway I was wondering why does it seem like every other joke I read or hear takes place at a bar? Why can’t they take place in more of a school appropriate setting, like a park. Yeah, your right that’s pretty lame.

12:46 I should really work on getting to sleep, I can’t help it though when I got home from school today I passed out, so how on Earth am I suppose to be tired now?! Its during the night that I feel the worse to, although I’ll be the first to admit that I do feel a tad bit better. I’m still debating what I have so far I have eliminated strep throat, west nile, and some different types of cancer. I have, in the free time that I don’t really have, googled random cures for sore throats, this is now my plan.

While still keeping on this 1560-1800 calorie diet, I’m going to have a major vitamin C fetish. At least I think it’s vitamin C, whatever vitamin is in orange juice. It does truly help, the first day I was sick I just kept sipping it and it smoothed my throat. Other then that I’m going to still do a half hour of cardio daily, maybe I can umm sweat it out?

I somewhat dislike going to school when I don’t feel good, and it’s probably not for the reason you think. When I’m sick it’s like my age drops 5 or more years, so basically I’m a walking 10 year old. This is probably because when I was little every time I got sick I would be catered to. Now I’m 16 and have to remind myself my mom won’t be holding my hand the whole time, I have to *gulp* grow up a little. Also another problem with the whole ’school thing’ is that I want to talk to people, but I shouldn’t, you know? I should be resting my vocal cords, but for now I say screw that rule.

Lets move on to funner topics.

Did you know that the today, the 15th, is Rubber Eraser Day. We all make little mistakes so why not take some time today and recognize the little guy who sits at the top of your pencil and helps us out. Today is also Leonardo Da Vinci’s Birthday, he was born on April 15, 1452 (case you care). So if your looking for an excuse to eat that chocolate cake that’s haunting you go for it, but don’t forget to sing him the Birthday Song. If you choose to celebrate his B-day be forewarned that this means in turn your accepting to celibate his death day next month on the 2nd, unfortunately I’m unsure whether the death song has lyrics, but nevertheless you could make one up.

On a less morbid note, Taxes are due today. ;)

    Happy Orange Juice day!

Being sick makes everything miserable, especially physical activity. Today I woke up at noon, got out of bed at 1pm, and right after started getting ready for ballet. Ballet begins at 2pm. Normally I’m there 10 or so minutes early, because I like to socialize a bit. I arrived exactly at 2pm today. There was a sub and well lets just say her teaching ways were a bit different. Lets just say it was a painful day. Chaînés, chaînés, chaînés !!! Could I hate them anymore? One week I’m can perform them decently, the next I’m spinning all over the room.

Today has been one of those do-nothing-days, and I hate do-nothing-days, especially when they’re on the weekend. I had so many things I was going to do today. My friends were going to come over, we were going to throw a little party, or get together Now look where I am! I’m eating applesauce in my bed and have a nervous compulsion to check my temperature every ten minutes.

What, you might ask, have I been doing in between checking my temperature?

Here’s a list I compiled of all the little ‘tasks’ I’ve accomplished.

    • I read Dramacon volume 3, and of course I loved it!
    • Searched the fridge for something decent to eat.
    • Discovered rotting veggie dogs.
    • Watch the imanga to Bizenghast. (http://www.youtube.com/user/tokyopoptv)
    • Went back to the fridge to dig up some applesauce.
    • And finally somehow ended up watching Avatar music videos on youtube.

This is the video that I’m in love with at the moment

I love everything about it, especially the song! “Remember The Name” by Fort Minor. Heck if I ever get good enough at dancing I want to choreograph and dance to this song, because it just makes you want to move.

I’m off to take my temperature some more

Tags: Love Song, , Sara Bareilles

    Good evening.

Time seemed to drag on today, in that kinda fast way. Does that make any sense? I have a feeling that I’m getting a flu or cold (who actually knows the difference anyway). So to say the least I’m miserable. It’s sad not being able to sing along to your favorite song because you have a sore throat.

Speaking of songs I finally kinda understand that song called Love Song by Sara Bareilles, since it’s a slightly popular song right now you hear it on the radio at least 10 times a day. Fortunately, it’s a nice sing-a-long song for the vast majority. It makes one hell of a pool song too, by the way. After getting the song stuck in my head I did what any sensible person does, I googled the song lyrics till I found out who sang it, then went to myspace and looked her up. I guess this could be some of the reasons I don’t get some homework done. To me it seemed like most her songs focused on the vague theme of love, but what artist doesn’t focus on that emotion? She’s pretty different though, a fresh voice (ha sounds like something a critic would say).

Mes favorite chansons par Sara Bareilles.

    1. Fairytale
    2. Bottle It Up
    3. Love Song

Those choices are a bit biased because I’ve yet to hear tons of her songs, but hey if I can come up with at least three of the top of my head then she’s worth googling, right?

Well I’m off to get more cough drops . :)

    Greeting!

I’m back, and although there are a million other things I should be doing this moment, I find myself typing along to some song that’s playing from my iTunes. It’s depressing, iTunes that is, would you like to know why? Well, I’m going to tell you anyways, iTunes reminds me of my iPod, which is long gone. Long story short it was lost a the movie theater.

What’s that you want to hear the story? I guess I could tell a bit of it. The truth about what happened to my iPod.

So I have about 5 free movie tickets sitting around my home, but you know how those things work! You have to wait a week before you can see a movie, because during its first week it’s called a special something or other. And when all your friends want to go to the movies they want to see some new release, in this story the new release just happened to be Nim’s Island, which by the way was a movie I was even dying to see. (Figuratively speaking of course) I was happy to spend $9.50 and support this wonderful film, although I should have got the student discount. It was opening night so of course it was a little crowed in there, so we didn’t get our favorite seats, but still decent ones.

    After the film ended is when it happened, the credits rolled, we got out of our seats, and made our way out to the hall. My friends head straight from theater 4 to theater 5 (note actually theater number are not based on the real account). In English this is called ’sneaking into a movie’ and to say the least I was nervous, never in the 16 years I have been alive had I done something so reckless. The movie was 21 and we had planned on seeing it afterwards, but it was the movie I thought I was using my free pass for (ironic eh?). I didn’t do the right thing and walk out of the theater, because truth is I wanted to be there, these are the lines that I kept feeding myself;

“Everyone does this at least once.”

“You go to the movies almost every week you should get a freebie here and there.”

    “Well since I’m already here.”

Between the previews and the start of the movies my cell phone had fallen out of my pocket, and when it fell it must have taken my iPod with it. I’m always checking my pockets and making sure I have everything, sometimes I can be just a bit too paranoid, so of course I noticed it was missing within 2 minutes a the least. Quickly I pulled out my cell to use as a light, and searched around for my heavenly music device. I even asked my friends to help and soon we had search the two rows between us. Harsh reality hit, it was gone.

I’ve always had a strong opinion about karma, this just raises it even more. In a way I guess it was a good (?) thing. A valuable life lesson was learned, a life lesson that is certainly not learned by half the teenage population.

Now, I’m actually in the process of getting a job, so that I may buy a new one (this time possibly a iPod touch!) and I’ll be sure to guard it with my life.

    -Clover

P.S. I defiantly recommend both movies to anyone, they both had a few ups and downs, but overall highly enjoyable.

Why am I blogging? I like to write and keep track of things that I do and this seemed to be the most organized way of doing it.

May I leave you comments? Of course, you may also send me an email at cloverlove@mymelody.com, if you would want.

    Now more about me, Clover.

    • anything artsy.
    • nice people. (duh!)

Well I ran out of things to say, those cover some broad subjects.
